Legal Utopia Awarded £3k Grant By The Federation of Small Businesses

The Mail Metro Media small business advertising campaign, organised by the Federation for Small Businesses, has awarded Legal Utopia with a £3,000 advertising package to promote its Legal Checker App to millions of readers this summer.

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, the Federation for Small Businesses teamed up with Mail Metro Media to give small businesses the opportunity to receive a £3,000 tailored advertising package for free.

Yesterday, Legal Utopia received confirmation it was an awardee of one of those grants; out of 6000 applicants. This provides the opportunity to advertise in the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, Mail Online, Metro, Metro Online, and inews outlets this summer.

Legal Utopia will benefit from a dedicated account manager to received tailored support to maximize the marketing opportunity to advertise to millions of readers across the UK.

Fraser Matcham (CEO) said:

"This is great news to benefit from this advertising grant and support package during these times where need and demand for our services could not be greater. An excellent initiative to support small businesses by the Federation of Small Businesses and Mail Metro Media."

Legal Utopia launched its mobile application service in early January 2020 to support small businesses to identify and resolve legal problems on demand without the need for legal knowledge or experience. The Legal Utopia Engine (L.U.E) is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store with the capability to diagnose more than 186,000 different legal problems instantly.

The mobile application was developed in collaboration with the University of Westminster, following research and development funding from the European Regional Development; where Legal Utopia undertook one of the largest national research projects in the UK into consumer legal expression.

Legal Utopia worked with the Computer Science Department at the University of Westminster to develop a machine learning capability to autonomously classify different legal problems, removing the need for initial lawyer consultations to diagnose legal problems and identify the needs of legal consumers.
